Keyboard Upgrade

For Bluetooth Connection issue / Trackpad sensitivity

If your purchase time is after 2024/10/1, and encounter trackpad gesture laggy issue, please check the steps below.

Besides, Google recently updated its Bluetooth connection method, causing the Bluetooth connection to become unstable. Please also follow steps below to update the keyboard to solve this issue:

1. Check your Keyboard version : we have different version keyboard for pixel tablet. *Please make sure your keyboard layout for different file to download. (Take following pictures as reference)
   
   
2. Download the files below using Pixel Tablet.
   Updated File: Please check your version. The download link is available below—scroll down to find it in the image section.
   Application（Download）
   
   
3. Install the application > More detail > Install Anyway > Open
   
   
4. In the App "PXI_BLE_OTA", please do the following steps:
   *Please Make sure your keyboard is Bluetooth connected with Pixel Tablet.*
   
   

   a. Open File > Allow > sdcard > Download > "XXXXX.bin" > Select > GET BOND DEV > Choose "eiP Magnetix Keyboard" > "PAUSE"
   b. The keyboard will be updated in few seconds.
   c. Please restart the keyboard case and reconnect it with pixel tablet

   Black Version 1 (Before 2024/10/1) Unable to upgrade	Black Version 2 Upgrade File : Download Note : Please check your version to download the correct link.
   Black Version 3 Unable to upgrade Currently it's only avalaible on Amazon US, CA, and AU. Why it's better but can't upgrade? We changed it to classic Bluetooth instead of BLE Bluetooth for better connection. Classic Bluetooth is unable to upgrade from client side.	White Version 1 Upgrade File : Download (Our Default Scrolling) Note : Please check your version to download the correct link. Reverse Scrolling : Download 1. After the upgrade, go to Settings → Touchpad, and enable ✅ Reverse Scrolling. 2. Our default gestures will be disabled. Please refer to Google’s built-in gestures instead.
   White Version 2 Unable to upgrade Currently it's only avalaible on Amazon US, CA, and AU. Why it's better but can't upgrade? We changed it to classic Bluetooth instead of BLE Bluetooth for better connection. Classic Bluetooth is unable to upgrade from client side.

   
   

Keep Disconnecting

Android 15 has known Bluetooth bugs that may cause keyboard disconnections.
To improve connection stability:

1. lf you haven't upgraded to Android 15, we recommend staying on your current version.

2. The Pixel Tablet shares bandwidth between Bluetooth & Wi-Fi.

lf connection issues persist, try improving your Wi-Fi signal to 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz or turning off Wi-Fi.

3. Restart the device to clear the cache.

4. Follow the instruction below to upgrade the keyboard to the latest version.

FAQ
